What do the Canucks need to do to get over their disastrous road trip in Boston? News1130 spoke with a sports psychologist this morning to find out.

Fans are on edge but the team can't be, says Dr. Saul Miller, who seems to agree with what Roberto Luongo has been saying: You have to leave the past behind you.

"I think when you play at the level of the NHL and you're playing in these Stanley Cup playoffs, you certainly have to have that ability to tune out what happened... You have to have a short memory for that."

I don't think they can. After barely winning the first two games and getting totally blastered in the last two, their Psyche has to be shot. The Bs have big Mo on their side and it'll be interesting to see if Vancouver can jump out in front early and build some confidence from there.Goalie"s gotta come up big, though!

I think the twins will come back to life on home ice. Turning out to be a great final.

They'd better or it's over.Really don't have a dog in this fight, but since the Canucks beat my Hawks,I'll lean slightly their way.

if the vancouver canucks wish to have any chance at remaining in this series, then they need to man up. they need to play a more gritty style with bodies in front of the net, as boston does. i do not care if you get 40, or even 50, shots on thomas, you are not going to score if they are perimeter shots, and you have nobody willing to stand in front. boston is playing the tough, physical game that wins championships. vancouver seems as if they have no interest in that. i hope that i am wrong because i am a fan of hockey, and want to see a great series.

also, they would do well to keep the other team away from the front of their net. luongo has played poorly, but so has the defense.

Burrows needs to stop biting people. Then, Vancouver needs to decide and understand that they are a finesse team and stop trying to hit with Boston. The Sedins need to perform much better than they have in the last two games.

Tim Thomas looks pretty good right now (1 goal given up in the last two games) - Luongo, not so much (12 goals given up in the last two games.) Vancouver will need to feed off of their fans in order to win this series! If this series stays physical, cue Dropkick Murphys - Boston will win.

interestingly, the canucks out hit boston in game five with their defensemen totally stepping up in the physical game. good for them.

True 800 lb gorilla. If I didn't see it, I wouldn't have believed it. It looks like Vancouver may win this series in close games at home, while Boston will pound them in Boston, but end up without the cup.

i was afraid that they were too wimpy to make a series of it, but they proved me wrong. i am so glad. the nhl is clicking on all cylinders, which is great considering other sports are having contract issues. you go, nhl!

I have two sons who are goal tenders in Jr. hockey (I know, I know, it takes a unique individual to want to stop frozen rubber flying at you at 80+ MPH - my sons are unique, must get that from their mother.)

I was worried that the NHL would never come back two years ago. Versus has actually been a blessing and the announcers are phenomenal. It is a great product and my sons and I can watch it together.

awesome. i played d on ice, but i played goalie for floor hockey and deck hockey teams, and catcher in baseball. it is a tough position. catcher can be rough because you have no padding on your arms from the bicep down. ouch!

keep them at it. we (my brothers and i) still play today, even in our 40s.

It's all about the goal tending right now. Boston wins tonight, Boston wins in 6. If Boston wins tonight, it goes seven and probably slightly favors Vancouver playing for it all on home ice.

Lost all respect for the Canucks last night after watching them try to fake injuries over and over again. I thought they were better than that...any team that takes falls deserves to forfeit
