Almost 6,000 years ago, the ancient Sumerians told of planet Nibiru existing in our solar system. The ancient Hebrew text, called the Kolbrin, also described this mysterious planetoid and called it 'The Great Destroyer'.
Supposedly, this planetoid's cycle through the solar system is a natural phenomenon that could actually be responsible for previous global disasters and extinctions, Biblical accounts of the flood that are corroborated by other faiths and historical texts but referred to as The Deluge, the ancient account of Exodus, the Ten Plagues of Egypt, and the massive extinction of dinosaurs. While the Hebrews were writing the about the events of Exodus and the great plagues attributing their victories to God, the Egyptians had other ideas and sought explanations more secular and scientific in nature. Egyptians aspired to record their accounts, history, and deliberations in a massive anthology called The Great Book. It was estimated to be the size of a modern encyclopedia and be more scientific than more faith-based scriptures of the time. Additionally, its common knowledge that the ancient Egyptians were exceptionally proficient in the areas of architecture, astronomy, and mathematics.
In the Book of Jeremiah, it warns that, in chapters 25:32 and 48:8, The Destroyer will come and the entire Earth would suffer its wrath. It further says that, "Disasters will soon spread from nation to nation. They will come like a powerful storm to all the faraway places on earth" and "The Destroyer will come against every town, not one town will escape. The Lord said this will happen."
On the other hand, according to Wikipedia the phenomenon referred to as Nibiru or Planet X has been disproved:
Harrington died in January 1993, without having found Planet X.Six months before, Myles Standish had used data from Voyager 2's 1989 flyby of Neptune, which had revised the planet's total mass downward by 0.5%—an amount comparable to the mass of Mars—to recalculate its gravitational effect on Uranus. When Neptune's newly determined mass was used in the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Developmental Ephemeris (JPL DE), the supposed discrepancies in the Uranian orbit, and with them the need for a Planet X, vanished. Moreover, there are no discrepancies in the trajectories of any space probes such as Pioneer 10, Pioneer 11, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 that can be attributed to the gravitational pull of a large undiscovered object in the outer Solar System.Today, most astronomers agree that Planet X, as Lowell defined it, does not exist.
In 1993, NASA announced, through a press release, that an unknown massive trans-Neptune object, or what many people commonly refer to as 'Planet X', 'Nibiru' or 'Eris', was approximately 50 billion miles from Earth. Now, according to some experts and scientists, it is estimated to be a mere 7 billion miles from us and moving closer.
Whether you believe in the existence of this infamous planetoid or not, in recent years there's been a lot of interest in the subject, many researchers have stepped forward and taken one side of the argument or the other, and there's more questions about it today than at any previous time since it's original conception.
On that note, I came across another video today that, according to the video's producer, was produced through a concerted, collective effort, comprised of scientists, researchers, and other experts from the government and private sector, and intended to further establish proof for the existence of this planetoid. The producer also claims to have obtained raw video footage, as seen in the video itself, from sources at NASA that, unedited, also purportedly helps prove the case for the existence of a trans-Neptune object that's currently hidden behind the sun.
It's a very interesting video to say the least, but everyone can be their own judge:
